Everything you need to know about using PinSpree
🚀 Getting Started
How do I create a pin?
Tap the + button in the tab bar and select 'Create Pin'. You can add a photo, location, and details about the place. Your friends will be able to see your pins and save them for later!
How do I share pins with friends?
You can share pins nearby using Bluetooth sync when you're together, or share a link via the share button on any pin. The Bluetooth sync is perfect for sharing multiple pins at once when you're hanging out!
What are Circles?
Circles are groups of friends you can create to share pins with. Great for planning trips together, keeping track of date night spots, or curating recommendations for specific friend groups!
How do I add friends?
Go to your Profile, tap Friends, then tap the + button to search for friends by username or invite from your contacts.
📅 Plans & Activities
What's the "I'm down" feature?
Tap "I'm down" to let your friends know you're free and looking to do something. You can specify what you're in the mood for, and friends nearby who are also "down" will see you!
How do I create a plan?
Tap the + button and select 'Create Plan'. Add pins to your plan, invite friends, and set a date. Plans can be private (just you), shared with specific circles, or open for friends-of-friends to join!
What are Open Seats?
Open Seats are plans where the host has room for more people. Browse plans from friends-of-friends and request to join if something looks fun!
🔒 Privacy & Safety
Who can see my pins?
By default, only your friends can see your pins. You can also share pins with specific Circles or make them public. You have full control over your privacy settings.
Is my location shared?
Your real-time location is never shared without your explicit permission. When you mark yourself as "down", you can choose whether to share your approximate location or keep it private.
How do I block someone?
Go to their profile, tap the ••• menu, and select "Block". They won't be able to see your pins, plans, or activity, and you won't see theirs.
